Forget the former post. Just googled the info and it wasn't Nancy who died but the man who attacked her. What a relief! Sorry to scare anyone. That's what I get for catching the tail end of something! mom

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Brian Sean Griffith, a former bodyguard to figure skater Tonya Harding who admitted a role in the attack on her rival Nancy Kerrigan during Olympics tryouts, has died. He was 40.
Griffith died Wednesday of what his doctor reported as natural causes, according to the Washington County medical examiner's office. The specific cause of death is expected to be listed when the doctor files a death certificate, which could take two weeks, the medical examiner's office said.

I was hoping to fix my post before anyone noticed. I am very sorry to anyone who was sensitive to this. I saw the ticker tape and I didn't see the first part of it. I'm just so relieved it wasn't Nancy. Again, please accept my most humble apologies. I was just so shocked that I wanted to see if anyone else had seen this story. And sorry Elphaba, I was switching the channels when I saw the ticker tape. I'm not a fan of FOX so you're right, I should have known better. Look, I know I made a mistake but I immediately corrected it and apologized. I own up to my responsibilities. I would like to make a motion to just delete this thread.
