This really surprised me.
So I've hade my current cell phone for just about 6 months.
My friend noticed last night that the call life-timer on it is 1,110 hours, 15 minutes and 34 seconds.
I seriously don't think I spend THAT much time on the phone, but I guess I do?

I've had mine a little less than two months and the lifetime of calls is 2 hours, 51 minutes, and 15 seconds. So I talk on the phone for about three minutes a day...which makes sense, since all I really do is call my mom for a ride every day.
ETA: And if I did my math right, you talk on the phone for about six hours a day, Priest. Though I might not have done my math right...

I'm hoping/thinking it overcounted.
Otherwise I have a problem or something.

I tend to restart that call life-timer. I get a little creeped out about it, regardless of the few times I ever called anyone.
However, I recently discovered the large amount of rollover minutes I have over the year. Methinks it's about 6000, and some of them are to be expired soon.

hyper, what service do you have? The two I've had wouldn't let you reset the life timer.

Priest, does it tell you how many calls that was? I just looked at mine and it said 219 hours, 55 mins and 8 seconds for 4,365 calls. I've had mine a year and three months.
