Well, they didn't have a press screening for critics, so you know the studio thinks its BRILLIANT! Wouldn't it be loverly if one of these no-brain remakes wasn't a box office success?

Actually, the reviews I have read have not been scathing, just shrugging. All of them seem to be questioning the purpose of this remake (other than the obvious monetary reasons).

I saw the midnight screening last night & thought it was actually very good. Freddy has his perversion cranked up a good 15 notches.
