Photoshop software for mac.

I feel so technologically challenged...Is there any downloadable photoshop like software compatible with macbook? I know I could get adobe photoshop, but I cannot buy that right now at my experience(or budget), this would be more for creative outlet so I don't need something too advance.

GIMP is one of the best free alternatives you can find.

I use Photoshop CS4 on my Mac. I've used Gimp before on my PC, and it's ok.

Have you heard about Aviary? It's this new platform owned by google. I signed up for it out of curiosity (it's all completely free) and the image editing one (forgot the name) is really, really close to what PS does!

This is amazing! You can edit so much and it's all free! Another great thing on the web. Jut sign up, and you can use everything they offer. You don't have to download anything! :)

Look into Photoshop Elements. It's a watered down version of Photoshop.
