Is it just the Alexander Technique of the 21st Century?

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Are the techniques similiar? Do they accomplish the same goal?

Back in the 1990s, Alexander Technique was everywhere. Actors weren't anybody unless they had had Alexander Technique.
