Pink Floyd Keyboardist Richard Wright Dead At 65

One of the greatest rock band that ever was just lost one of it's member. Richard Wright was the unsung hero of the band. He created lush sound that Pink Floyd is known to have and written some of the greatest songs in Rock history.

One of my favorite song written by him is The Great Gig in the Sky. It's so haunting, so beautiful, I've always wondered if he were given a chance to write for a Broadway show, how lush would that sound be.

I'm so glad we got to see him and David Gilmour two years ago on the"Island" tour....What a show

There has to be something said for his ability to struggle through those huge The Wall shows after having been forced out of the band by Waters.

A real great talent.
