Aloha! I have auditions for 'Pirates Of Penzance' in little over a week, and I'm rather surprised and pleased to learn I still have the range for Mabel, although I intend going for all four of the named daughters. I've been given my auditions pieces, but wondered if anyone had any useful tips. Generic ones (particularly on dealing with nerves!) are welcomed, but anything specific to the show would be GREAT.

Make sure your diction and enunciation are as clear as can be and HAVE FUN!

Yes, I would REALLY work on the diction, because a majority of what the girls sing in the show are patter songs! I did this show and I was in the pirate ensemble, it was tons of fun.
