So, this year my school is doing “Pirates of Penzance” for our spring musical. I’m looking to audition for Ruth, Kate, or Editith. My only issue is that I really have no clue on what to do for an audition song. Since I had no idea, I decided to turn to here. I’m looking for a song that is between mezzo soprano and contralto in vocal range. Any input or recommendations for songs anyone has would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
