Uh, I believe he means "imply," since to "even infer" makes no sense. To (even) infer that he was home schooled might be sound thinking, however.

That so reminds of this total ditz that I used to work with who one day sent the following message to about 50 people.

"OMG, I just had an apifany [sic]. We should meet asap".
