I had just gotten accepted into Point Parks acting program.
I plan on double majoring in Acting & Broadcasting.
I am between Marymount Manhattan & Point Park.
Does anyone know of both their programs? I've done a very thorough Pro/Con list of both schools, and still cannot decide.
I would love to hear feedback!

It depends on where you want to be and exactly what you want.
Obviously Marymount has got NYC as your campus. Pittsburgh is a great city, with a real thriving theatre community, but it's still no NYC. Like Marymount, Point Park's campus is made up of buildings smack dab in the middle of the city. However because it's bigger you get more of a sense of a university/college than you might with the smaller Marymount. Also I believe Point Park has much better and more varied facilities. Plus there is much more of an opportunity to perform at Point Park since they put on way more shows throughout the year, I think Marymount only does like two main stage shows.
You also get a better chance to earn that much sought after Equity card through PCLO, they always higher kids from Point Park and Carnegie Mellon to be in their summer ensemble. Marymount allows you to make contacts in the industry since you're working with the NYC professionals, however I'm betting that it's a little bit harder to get decent role in NYC without an equity card.
Did you get into the BFA acting in Marymount as well or just the BA? Because in the BFA they don't allow you to work outside of the program during the school year, I know that Point Park does with a permission.
Both are really good schools, so where ever you go will be great! Congrats!
