Just got it.
Anyone else have it?
I've never seen an episode from Season 2, but I can't wait, because the season finale of 1 was hysterical with the cliff-hanger...

Hopefully, ya'll'll know what I'm talking about.

Popular ROCKS!!!

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

No I haven't bought it yet. But I want to. I loved the first season and I do remember watching a few of the episodes from the second season when they originally aired. I was so sad when this show got the axe!

Justice, Season 2 is much more hit-and-miss than season 1, but it's well worth slogging through all the WB serious teen-drama crap to get to the Mary Cherry/Nicole Julian storylines (there are also some great episodes focusing on April Tuna). Both Leslie Grossman and Tammy Lynn Michaels have killer episodes near the end of the season, and the season finale is pure genius (Leslie Grossman is HYSTERICAL in the final episode!).

Episode 1:

Nicole to Mary Cherry: You look like a Gay Turkey!

I love Nicole. Yay for the lesbians!!!!

Apil Tuna is also one of my favorite supporting characters.

It is a shame that the show got cancelled. I heard that their writing started going downhill. Still, one can't get over the plethora of characters written to entertain.

Mary Cherry to Teen Tart judges:

You're just jealous of my tight, teen ASS!

Mary Cherry to Animal Rights Activist Lilly:

Mama Cherry and I are going on an Alaskan cruise to hunt for baby seals! Mama needs a new coat.

I LOVE Popular, and Leslie Grossman's Mary Cherry is pure genius.
