It may be my twisted sense of humor but I think Portlandia with Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen is such a riot.They portray numerous sets of wacky couples in incredible situations. Plenty of big name guest stars,Kyle MacLachlan is a hoot as the Mayor. It's nominated for an Emmy tonight for best sketch variety show or something like that. Fast, fast comedy. Any thoughts?

I rather like the show -- it can be hit or miss, though. I have it on good authority from a Portland native that the show's depiction of oppressive liberality is dead-on accurate. Still, I'd rather live in PORTLANDIA's version of Portland than in Kim Davis' Kentucky.
