A dancer might dream to see her name in lights and mean it, but all she really dreams is to make someone else feel the way she did when she first saw a dancer. And that is so beautiful-Anonymous

My definite favorite gift is my brand new 20GB iPod! It's so beautiful and nifty. His name's Bahamut. XD

I also got an iCarPlayer set to hook it up in the car for when I get back from break. Plus a beautiful silk scarf with a Beethoven piece on it, the new Lord of the Rings: The Third Age PS2 RPG (two of my favorite things, LotR and RPGs, in one!), and two books on surviving college and life (The Woman's Guide to College and A Girl's Gotta Do What a Girl's Gotta Do) because it's my senior year.

Well, I got a new computer earlier this year, and my parents are paying part of my trip to Africa, so I didn't get a lot (understandably), but here's what I got:

Standing Ovations 2
Two Forbidden Broadway recordings
Assassins
Miss Saigon cast recording
Rent Poster
Gift Certificates (Hastings and Best Buy)
Harry Potter III
Shrek II
An alarm clock (I need it for Africa)
A calendar

And we're exchanging with my grandparents later today...

Why do we play with fire? Why do we run our fingers through the flame? Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain? -tick...tick...BOOM!

Yay Princeton!
I never saw it, but I am pretty darned excited!! Yeah, the ipod is amazing. All of my friend were lusting for one, and I didn't know what they even were.

They are gonna be jealous! I haven't been to my grandmothers yet, so later tonight I'll let you know about the other stuff.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."

A bunch of crappy stuff because my mother didn't feel like asking me what I wanted before getting anything. Pretty much everything that she got me related to musical theatre I already had and was nonrefundable, and she got me a ton of really crappy clothes. I think she just walked through the store and said "Oh, that's black! He would want to wear it!" Patooey.
