Pretty sure that's the date of the Tom Cruise/Scientology episode which will air on Comedy Central...

Ooh I hope it repeats! I'm seeing Jersey Boys again on the 19th.
Thanks Craig.
*wishes he had tivo*
I saw the episode when it originally aired so this must be a repeat. Tom Cruise techinically only got the UK to ban it from airing. Its a classic!!
Oh my god! Where's L.Ron? I don' believe it!
The travolta is great.
Dad, Tom Cruise won't come out of the closet!
I love it.
"Oh mai gawd!"
GYPSY1527, Craig is referring to the fact that the same week that Isaac Hayes announced he was leaving South Park, Comedy Central pulled the scheduled rerun of "Trapped in the Closet" (they aired the chocolate salty balls episode instead). Since then there had been speculation that the episode would never air again, hence why it's a "previously forbidden" episode.

That was so funny. Just how bad a writer was L. Ron Hubbard?

Pretty bad.

Battlefield Earth is close to 1000 pages, if I am not mistaken. A pulpy novel like that should only be 200 pages max.
I've got my VCR set to catch the 1 AM broadcast!
You know - they BEAT that joke that Tom Cruise was in the closet to DEATH - and it was still funny every single time they said it.
Ya gotta love it!
DRAT! Totally missed it... again.
As did my son DD, man was he P.O.ed!!

Of course, thejoke gets funnier when John Travolta is in the closet with him.
Why was it forbidden?? I've seen it multiple times, at least repeated 4 or 5 times. It's my favorite episode of South Park!

Oh. My. God.
I don't care how much the jokes were beat into the ground, it was hysterical. The best part was the "actual beliefs." That's just frightening.
Ending the episode with "SUE ME!" was so perfect.
And you know that the Scientologists probably tried to find an angle that they could.
