Why has this never been put on DVD?
I remember watching this everyday as a kid.

IMDB has this review where it's given 10 stars because the person thinks it teaches people to respect the elderly. I don't remember having that same reaction to the movie.

I have this song on repeat.
I can't believe this has never garnered the attention of Puff the Magic Weed-Stick.
For shame.

I bet you do.
I do, too.
I almost sang the song in a bar in Georgia. Long story.
Let's just say I didn't puff enough dragon to want to do it.

OK - story time!
You know how Puff eats that apple whole at the beginning. Well, I always wondered - "What about the core!?"
When I was younger I tried to eat an apple whole.

I kind of want to watch it. I'm one of those weird people who sinks into childhood nostalgia in order to feel better when I'm stressed, since, you know, life was easier when you were five.
Please tell me you didn't eat the apple core.

I took one bite and said, "Damn. I guess I'm no dragon." So then I took my mom's stash and...no. That wasn't me.
Nope. I don't really like apples so I never got close enough to swallowing one whole.

Judy Garland (infamously) performed this song at the 1958 concert "Garland at the Grove."
Although not one of her finest moments it was further proof that she could be "fun at parties."
You can hear a bit of it at the link below.

Posted: 5/6/06 at 2:24pmI feel like a surprising number of people (none of which I can think of offhand, mind you) have performed this song. I don't get why you'd pick it.
