Here's security camera footage of a cat attacking a babysitter when it thinks the kid is in trouble. The cat starts scratching her, and keeps attacking until it backs her into a corner and out of the room. And when she picks the kid up later, it attacks again

My cat saw this and is begging we hire a babysitter so he can "protect" something in the house.
