QUICK HELP PLEASEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are studing the burosque period..(which think is boring)

Anyway- There were 40 questions on the test and I can't get the answers to some of them. Can anyone help?

1)The main keyboard instruments on the burleque era are?
One answer is organ. I don't know the other one- and it isn't harpsicord.


2) Where did ordinary citizens usually hear music in this era?

3)Composer in the middle Baroque period favored writing for which instrumental family?

I may have more questions later but if you can help, I'd really appreciate it!

For #1, I put harpsicord because I read that like 8 places now and even though the person next to me said it definetley wasn't it- it seems more people think it is the hapsicord than not. I used "poll the audience" lifeline.
For #2, I put church.
For #3, I put keyboard but I'm very hesistant about that one.

Also, 3 more questions-

Messiah is an example of this form?
*Personally, I don't even understand the question*
If I had to guess, I'd say oratorio- any other suggestions? lol

astonishing -- you can hear music without going to a concert. churches have masses, etc. that are primarily (and sometimes completely) musical.

taverns/coffee houses weren't really a MAIN musical venue, but i suppose if you explain it enough you might be able to swing that one.

messiah is DEFINITELY oratorio.

"another day" is both, i think. i think roger's part is minor and mimi's part is major, but that's just singing it in my head so i could be wrong.

justagirl2 is right, it is the clavichord. (trust me, my dad's a piano technician. we HAVE a clavichord. my family's weird.)
