Can anyone think of a movie that's all about an everyday product (ie. not a cultural product like a book or something).
hmmm...I can't think of anything off the top of my head, but movies where products are a major part of the film or are mentioned more than your average product placement.....pudding (Punch Drunk Love), Windex (Big Fat Greek Wedding), FedEx (Castaway), everything under the moon (Josie and the Pussycats)...
There's something at the tip of my...er...brain....but I can't put my finger on it.

What is the movie where there is the guy who is in charge of Coca Cola operations in West Berlin? It revolved quite a bit around coca cola. Twice when he went to get a Coke he got a Pepsi instead and it about drove him nuts. His niece fell in love with a guy from East Berlin who was a Communist and it was quite hilarious. I think part of the title had "STOP!" in it.
You've Got Mail! - does that count?
The Coca-Cola Kid with Eric Roberts.
Fight Club had a lot about soap in it.
Larry Cohen's B horror spoof, THE STUFF was all about a killer yogurt...
You could say THE TRUMAN SHOW was all about a product.
Oh, and THE BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER...
Can't believe that nobody has mentioned Truth or Dare. The greated commercial for a human product of all time.
Brave Little Toaster
Hudsucker Proxy was about the Hula Hoop
THE RING is all about a videotape..
