Question about the Boys Next Door...

Ok, so for our state thespian conference in CO this year, a friend and I are performing a scene from the boys next door with Norman and Shelia. I was just curious if anyone here has done or seen this show and if they could give any advice on what might make it better!!! Oh, and btw it's the scene where Norman and Shelia are in the apartment on their little date with the flowers and all that... THANKS SO MUCH to anyone who replies!!! ANY help and advice is appreciated!
