Question for Facebook Users.#1

I have a couple of things I am trying to figure out with Facebook with no luck. This must be a settings issue but why if a friend posts something to FB I will see it on my iMac but not on my iPad or iPhone? And vice versa.

The other issue which must be a setting. How do I turn off the popups when someone posts to FB? Last night I was watching a movie on my iMac and I would get popups messages that someone posted to FB.

No idea about the first issue.

Second issue.... have you tried watching a movie and closing the Facebook window/tab? Duh.

I don't have Facebook open when it pops up. Nor my browser(Safari). So not sure about the "Duh"?

For your iPad/iPhone go into settings, facebook, and turn your push notifications on. Not sure how to do the iMac, but I'm sure if you play around with settings features you can get there. Google is also always your friend, I've found some great Apple help from google searches.

Thanks flip. Push notifications was set to off so switched them to on on all devices. :)
