Are any of you feeling kind of weirded out by the fact that your adolescence pretty much ends this time next year and you'll be off to college and starting your life? I mean, it's exciting to think about but, I mean, I'm just so used to it here. And nobody will be following me to college because most of my droogies are all younger than me (Although just a year younger so that is koo.). It also doesn't help that my school schedule is amazingly light this year so school doesn't really feel like school. I mean, I leave in the middle of the day every other day to go intern at an audio place. That's a great thing but...I dunno...it just feels different.

Im going into Jr year and thinking about how my my SATs this year will or will not affect the course of my entire existence lol. Other than that, I'm doing well re: Question for High School Seniors

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

C_S, I'm well past my senior year now, but I remember feeling the same way. It's natural, everybody feels it sooner or later.

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson
