I ask this question in all sincerity because honestly I can't figure it out and I would like to figure out your Party's stance.
John Kerry was mad when we began the Iraq War because we didn't "consult" Germany and France.
Hillary Clinton is now mad because we did work with Germany, France and England in the Iran situation.
So what's it to be? Do we or do we not consult them?
Hillary Speech
Why should Kerry and Clinton hold the exact same views? Why should both circumstances be exactly the same?
It's NOT a black and white world--newsflash.
I think you are misstating what has been said.
I think the crux of Hillary's stataement is that Bush has been so busy with Iraq, that he has ignored Iran. We have not been involved in the process of trying to get Iran to stop its nuclear program. What she is saying is that we abdicated any role in the process. That is not what you stated. As the article stated:
"In an address Wednesday evening at Princeton University, Clinton, D-N.Y., said it was a mistake for the United States to have Britain, France and Germany head up nuclear talks with Iran over the past 2 1/2 years. Last week, Iran resumed nuclear research in a move Tehran claims is for energy, not weapons."
I read that to read that her objection is the lack of US involvement -
Him, distorting a statement of a democratic leader - I am so surprised.
