Pippin - I'm sorry I wasn't familiar with Spencer Cox before reading your link.

I posted about Spencer in the thread about How to Survive a Plague.

It's important to know that the work he did in releasing the HIV medications in 1995 and 1996 extended into changing the way medications are released for other diseases, like multiple sclerosis and breast cancer and other cancers.

His obituary appears in today's NY Times.
