I must be getting old..
Alan Sues passed away. I can remember Rowan and Martin's Laugh In.
Anyone else?

I always thought he'd just repackaged himself as Michael Kors.

Wow, he was 85? I do feel old, too. When I was in first grade (yes, that long ago), I had a Laugh-In lunchbox. I used to love this show, and our whole family would watch it together. I have a couple of "Best Of" sets on DVD now. I'll have to give them a spin and watch for Alan again. He always cracked me up.
I guess he was one of the older cast members. Ruth Buzzi is 10 years younger than Alan. Henry Gibson was 9 years younger. Artie Johnson is 3 years younger. Joanne Worley, 11 years. And Goldie Hawn is 19 years younger.

Oh, sad news.
I loved LAUGH-IN.
Such an original show.
And he was campy and fun!
I was in elementary school (I'm that old, too!) and thought I was so grown-up when I watched it with my parents. We used to say the lines from the show to eachother all week!
It was such a huge part of pop culture. The elementary school I attended actually changed the night of the PTA meetings, so the parents could stay home to watch... (Apparently the attendance dropped when there was a conflict!)
Memories...

One ringy-dingy...
Is this the party to whom I am speaking?
I loved her.

I used to roar when she would talk to "Mister Fuhbuckley." It was decades later I realized she was referencing William F. Buckley.
And of course, there was Uncle Al the Kiddies' Pal.
