Posted: 9/5/13 at 6:56pmIn a brutal coincidence, today is one year to the day that I had to say good-bye forever to my dear Kringas Jones. I thought Silverman's obituary for Duck might push me over the edge, but I was glad I took the time to read it. The final lines did slay me, though.

Posted: 9/5/13 at 7:04pmSo sorry for Sarah, but a beautiful and stirring tribute that had me in tears reading it. I had to put down only a couple of dogs in my lifetime and I could never handle being in the room. I have to walk away even though I wish I could be like Sarah, holding him until he has passed.
