Sorry to see that this vivacious star of Vitaphone shorts and STAND UP AND CHEER (best remembered as a film that indroduced some brat) has passed away. The sight of Ms. Froos in a white cowboy hat, shirt and boots and sexy shorts standing astride a night view of Broadway singing "Broadway's Gone Hill-Billy" will not be forgotten.
Broadway had a rhythm
that was fast and fur-i-ous!
Those Hi-De-Ho men
Were real-live show men!
Small towns went right with 'em,
Still they all were cur-i-ous
As to what tunes
could take the place of Broadway's hot tunes!
Then pretty soon there came a show-down!
It was mountain music
made Broad-way slow down!

"I only ask if she ever finds a daddy song that she please sing it for me."
Boy, I'll bet there has never been an obit with a quote like that before. I'll have to try that line out sometime and see what it gets me.
Little Sylvia never did get her big break, did she. Perhaps if she had only found a Daddy.

"I've written a letter to Daddy..."
"Cuz, my heart belongs to Daddy..."
"Daddy, I'm a big girl, now...", oh, wait...
