The Obit says he was an usher at Circle In The Square. I will always remember his mid life comedies.

RIP George Segal. I am hoping he lived exemplary life so this RIP thread does not turn out like many others and being about bad behavior and not the talent of the performer.

I remember seeting "Where's Poppa?", when I was under ten years old to see Oscar winner Ruth Gordon. I found the film to be really funny and also very disrepectful to the older demographic. I LOVED George Segal's performance, and then I saw "The Owl and the Pussycat", with Barbra Streisand. There has never been a film that he made that I did not completely love. I was so happy to see that he was working again on "The Goldbergs", and thinking how amazing it must be for the younger cast members to be acting with this amazing legend. He was an amazing actor and will always be loved...

He will be missed. Loved him in "Virginia Woolf," and especially as Felix Sherman in "The Owl & The Pussycat."

I do not think he was known for bad behavior. He was so handsome in his younger years.
