Had the pleasure of working with him my first 10 seasons on SNL. He would often come to the shop and hang out. A great and funny guy. He relished in telling the tale of having asked Milton Berle if the rumors of his endowment were true and how Uncle Milty unzipped and dropped it on the table.

I briefly interviewed him and Al Franken (and politely refused the joint being passed around) when they appeared at my college in 1980.
59 is too young...my thoughts are with his family and friends.
