Hey everybody. I'm a BIG fan of the band Rush. I'm seeing Neil, Alex, and Geddy in August. If anyone's seen them or wants to see them, please give reviews or comments. Thanks!

ok. so i saw this thread and immediately began humming red barchetta. then i remembered carole mcclain's ass. it was perfection in 1983. she liked rush too.

I worked in the Music Biz for over 15 years. There is a well-known "Rush effect": Every time they have a new album you are besieged by questions: "When's the new Rush coming out?" Then on street date, the fans pour in to buy it. You sell a few more that weekend cause some dudes don't have the dollars till payday. Then, you never sell a single copy ever again.
Hence, all record stores stock 2112 (the only catalog album that sells) and return all unsold copies of the "new" album one week after it's released. The Rush Effect.

RUSH was actually my first rock concert (the second being Rod Stewart). This doesn't include the many James Taylor concerts I began going to when I could barely speak.
