Hey, I love the kittnes. Don't wanna strangle them. THat's why I refrain from watching her show. And from being around kittens if I DO watch it.
I pity Marvin!
Marvin's gonna drown himself pretty soon if he doesn't stop being too curious anyway. Last week he fell in the toilet.
Her personally . . . not so hot
30 MINUTE MEALS . . . FREAKIN' HOT!
I see he's inherited his namesake's personality.
BTW: You guys don't put the toilet seat down?
ok, her jugs are not enormous and given the chance id show her what evoo's really for.
SM2: Well we do now!
(Marvin= my cat, by the way)
Papa: And what is EVOO really for? Soaking bread?

Extra Virgin Olive Oil--used for cooking purposes.
And I find some of her recipes to be gross. She once made hot dogs and the condiment was everything one puts on a hot dog; relish, ketchup, mustard, and so on. This was all mixed together and look disgusting. Oh and of course it had to be delivious-she added gallons of EVOO.
I like Rachel Ray.... but she uses her hands too much when she talks!
She is irritating beyond belief.
I can't help but watch her daytime show. I mean her guests are usually cool. I usually like the subjects of the segments. I'm addicted to cooking shows.
In general, she's not so hot.
Wow, who knew a thread about Rachel Ray was going to be so life altering?
But I did get a new signature line out of it.

Nice sig file. [Another Gay Eyeroll]
I am liking this thread more than Rachael Ray right now. Hot no. I watch her on FN. I'm OK with her.
I think your avatar is HOT, vb.

Just what is wrong with Bobby Flay? I love his Throwdowns. He always seems to respect and never condescends to his challengers.
Do you mean "condescends," etoile?

Yes, I do, thank you.
Are you kidding about Bobby Flay? The entire premise of the show is condescending. Hmmm, you think you are good at what you do? Well, I don't know anything about it, but I can do it better. His wife is totally hot, though.

I wouldn't find her half as annoying if she could actually cook.
My sister, a fantastic cook, took some of her recipes and made them... bland, bland, and bland.
One was called 'Will have him coming back for a second date Vodka Sauce.' Yeah, well, no man would have come back for that. Blech.

I agree. I once made her mac and cheese, tried it, and had to throw it out. I guess in theory her stuff sounds good, but not when put into practice.
I've made a few of her dishes. A couple of them were okayo--she had these barbecue chicken burgers that were pretty tasty--but her pasta dishes are kinda icky. My mother and I tried one that we thought looked really good. We went out and bought fresh ingredients and took our time wih it and everything. It was angel hair in a white wine sauce with shrimp and grape tomatoes. There ended up being nearly no sauce for the pasta--we had a pound of pasta with almost nothing to cover it a all. It was really awful. I haven't really tried her recipes sinse. Not to mention that not many of them look very appetizing.
For example, I once watched an episode where she made chicken with grapes in a mustard sauce. Okay, ew.
My partner is an excellent cook. As he says about RR: "30 minutes?! How can it be good?!"
RE: Bobby Flay. He is an arrogant, adenoidal little f*'er, but he knows what he's doing in the kitchen. His restaurants are all outstanding, his recipes are terrific and his food is inventive and delicious.
oh, his food always looks fabulous, but his personality is so grating that I can't even watch his shows. And that's half of the equation when you're talking about television
I wasn't talking about television. I was talking about his restaurants and his food. You rarely see him in his restaurants, which is a good thing, and I've never seen him in my kitchen, which is an even better thing.
My actual comment about Flay himself wasn't very complimentary. I did see him walking down the street in Chelsea once. He was scowling and talking to himself - I thought he was the corner schizophrenic for a moment before I recognized him.
Hahaha, that's hilarious. Now every time I watch his show I'll only be able to think about him mumbling down the street.
