This just really angered and surprised me. He "takes offense at Mr. Obama running for president" It's 2008, right? Not 1908!

Is anyone else here concerned about what might happen if Obama wins? These McCain supporters are angry and aggressive and I wonder what they will do when/if "their guy" does not get in on November 5th.
This is what we call LATENT RACISM.
If you're a racist, which you claim everyone who doesn't support Obama is, which race are your prejudiced against? White or Black? Or is it both?
I'm scared. I know everyone has thought about it, but with everything I'm seeing...I cant even finish this thought.
Ya, Im scared
John Boy, you are as blank as a fart. I never said anyone who does not support Obama is a racist. NEVER. My own brother is voting for McCain. Like most McCain supporters, you are resorting to lying, exaggerating, and story telling in order to get McCain in office. Pretty low blows and cheap shots are all "you people" have at this point. SO sad.
Yes you have.

I already mentioned this on another thread but this election can have a horrific ending...much like JFK and his brother RFK. Fear, ignorance, and racism do not mix!!! Shame on McCain and Palin!!!
John Boy, you live in your own world where Sarah Palin is smart, McCain is running a civil campaign and we are winning the war in Iraq. Take your meds,Go back to your cel, and watch FOX News.Tomorrows finger painting day and you want to get plenty of rest.
I am offended by that dude's face. He's offended because a black American is running for president? The only thing I can say about that is **** you, bigot.
I think the dude is even more insulted by the fact that an intelligent, highly educated, world traveled, multi-lingual, suave, good-looking, respectful, classy multi-racial GENTLEMAN is running for POTUS.
Listen, I figured I would hear a lot more of this on the doors -- but in general people have been pretty mellow and supportive even if they are voting McCain. To be sure I've had a few wackjobs, and this guy is well, just plain pathetic, but my sense is the 'squeaky wheel syndrome' is turning this into a bigger deal that it is. Yes there have been overt and covert racist acts committed during the campaign .. I hear that many offices have been vandalized and back in the early goings of the campaign some canvassers scared off by racial slurs, but I largely think that has to do with the fact that many of the volunteers coming out had never gone door-to-door before. People generally don't want us turning you on their doorstep -- period -- the Obama campaign has stepped up their field training 10 fold and folks are doing much better lately.
I truly don't believe it's as bad as it sounds in the news.

I disagree. This man is just one example.AS McCain's numbers drop and Obama's rise more and more of his supporters are slowly beginning to realize that Obama's chances of becoming our next President are growing and growing. To say they are not a bit happy is an understatement.

I wish that were my town! The day that sign came down I'd be there with an "BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA IS THE PRESIDENT!" Bumper sticker and every morning I'd say "Did you see what President Obama did yesterday?"
This idea of the media blowing all this racial hatred out of proportion is far from the truth. There IS a lot of racism and ugliness in this country. My sister supposedly took too long at a gas pump in Tennessee. The response? A guy told her he would "gut her [insert string of racial epithets]" and punched her in the face! It was 2 in the afternoon and she's 5 foot 1 and weighs 105 pounds. There can be no tolerance for sexism or bigotry coupled with violence. Thank god the media is talking about the dangerous emotions being stirred up all over the country.
I think the McCain parking lot guy is a dweeb but make no mistake: denying services to people who don't agree with you is dangerous and one step away from actual violence.
