Radiohead - Touring North America 2006!

There seem to be quite a few Radiohead fans on here.

I just saw Radiohead play in San Diego June 26 & 27. Absolutely fantastic! They're playing intimate (for them) venues. I'm used to seeing them with 20-30,000 other cheering fans, so it was quite different to see them with a group of no more than 3-4,000. Gorgeous setting right on the water's edge. To the left was the the bay littered with sail boats and to the right were towering glass hotels, the beautiful new(ish) Petco Park, water fountains, tree lined walkways and the gleaming green glass convention center. Such a lovely place to see a summer concert.

Radiohead is sounding sharp as ever. What most impressed me was how strong Thom Yorke's voice was. I've never heard him in more command of his voice. His falsetto was just so assured and full of emotion.

It would seem that Radiohead's been listening to a lot of rock (60s-70s), as their new songs are very guitar heavy. (cue the sigh of relief from all the fools who can't get past OK Computer).

So, did anyone else catch them on this tour?

They're playing L.A. the 29tha and 30th. I think Tickets are available on ebay for $598 ea.

Really? I've never picked up any Radiohead vibe here, good or bad.

I saw the Kid A tour. Will never waste my money on them again.
