Has anyone hard anything about this production? I'm thinking about a DC vacation and if this is going to be worth seeing I might as well time it to be there then...but have heard nothing about cast or anything but dates. Anyone else?
Joe, I live in DC and the only thing the Kennedy Center has listed are the dates of this production. They don't skimp on productions there (especially with musicians), so I'm really looking forward to this one.

My friend is in the tour of SEUSSICAL right now and it was directed by the same woman who will be directing the RAGTIME production; it's supposed to be new design, staging, etc and her SEUSSICAL was pretty damn good, friend in the cast or not.
and what a perfect time/year to open a musical in DC, just down the road from the White House! :)
I once heard someone describe her (Ruthie Henshall) singing as sounding as though she's trying to swallow a whole meatball slightly larger than her windpipe. (The same person compared Michael Ball's singing to sounding as though he's sitting on a washing machine on spin cycle and Colm Wilkinson's to a man with a paralyzed lip trying to eat cottage cheese.) --- Schmerg_The_Impaler
