these radio commercials don't get played much today, so i thought it would be great to "honor" them. they come from a beer company, but still an excellent marketing strategy. it's tough to decide which is more funny: the announcer or the background singer. check out the link below... it has (i think) all or most of them:

It's interesting to note that when this campaign started in early 2001, it was called "Real American Heroes". After September 11, they changed it to "real men of genius" - not wanting to equate the goofy guys in the ads with firemen, policemen, etc.
It was also after 9/11 that David Letterman changed the opening of his show to "From New York - the greatest city in the world" instead of the anti-New York jokes that used to open each show.

for my money the greatest series of beer commercials ever are these:
the high life
just something i found out today...the guy who does the actual singing in those commercials is the former lead singer from survivior. mr. t is still unavailable for comment.
