Sighs. I am really just this clumsy and loud, with no apparently ability to write humorously despite my fervent desire to come across as so in both cyber and real life.

It's about the same, isn't it? The websites just shill the persona.
It's all fiction--I just ran into someone who never tired of telling us what a great mother and loyal wife she was, only she'd ditched the kids and the husband, and has taken up with a sugar daddy--check out her FB page though, and it's all "happy family"--
And that's just one story--there are 8 million of them--
