I'm searching around to hire a painting service to skim coat and paint the walls in my studio apartment. I just had a guy over to give me an estimate and the price he gave me was WAY more than I was expecting.
My guess is that the expensive part is the skim coating, but there must be a more reasonably priced place in the city who could do the job.
Has anyone here hired painters for their apartment to skim coat and paint for a reasonable price? Any advice/referrals would be helpful.
