This should probably be on the main board, but I don't go over there.

Was at the dress rehearsal tonight. Anyone else there? It was really cute. A little crazy, but brilliant performance by Mary Louise Parker. She is insanely talented. The whole cast was hilarious. It ran pretty smoothly... I think it will be well recieved.

Anyone have tix already? Shout your two cents when you get a mo'. :)

I'm not seeing it for three weeks, but I'm really looking forward to it. Parker is always amazing and the play is terrific. Can't wait.

Anyone else remember the brilliant original production? The ever underappreciated Robin Bartlett was just remarkable. (She's gone on to become a heavy duty supporting comedic actress, but she is a leading lady in her own right.) It was tucked cozily into the now defunct Sheridan Square home of Circle Repertory Company. I'll be curious to see if it works well in a bigger space. There was a film no one saw -- with Mia Farrow, and lots of stylized sets. But it's too surreal to work on film, I believe, and the Edward Sissorhands approach just felt arch.
