Patty Duke, Claudia Cardinale, Sally Field, Elke Sommer,Peggy Lipton, Fannie Flagg...even Mae West is here and readily available. I have to admit I own the Peggy Lipton album and let me tell you it is a very, very good album. Totally agree with his review.

I was taken to meet Patty Duke at an industry event and I brought a copy of this and asked her to sign it.



She took one look at it and said, "Where the F*CK did you find THAT?"

LMAO! Sounds like something Patty would say. But let me tell you unlike Patty Duke Peggy Lipton COULD sing. I also own Patty Duke sings songs from Valley of the Dolls and other selections and it is not a pleasant listening experience...I only own that one for (1) it's camp value (2) i love me some patty (3) i love me some valley of the dolls.

One listen to Patty's 'Valley' album is proof enough as to why the producers were justified in getting Gail Heidmann to dub her singing voice in the actual film. Thank GOD they did!

Never heard it PJ but if you can get me a hookup I would appreciate it. Another celeb album which is I recommend if you can get your hands on it is Lynda Carter's PORTRAIT. A really good album and Lynda has a bee-u-tee-ful voice.

She never recorded a whole album, but aside from doing all of her own singing for the soundtrack to GYPSY, Natalie Wood sung a pretty little tune for the 1966 film PENELOPE called "The Sun is Gray"...and it's not half bad at all. She does a decent enough job on it.
