Can't locate a thread. Very intriguing series. After seeing the first episode on AMC about a week ago (we don't get Sundance Channel on our cable tier) I finally purchased the first season from Amazon and am up to (have not yet watched) episode 4, out of six total for the season. It's already been renewed for a second season with 10 episodes ordered.
"About 'Rectify'" from Sundance.com (first 2 episodes / 2-hr premiere can be seen online there):
After spending 19 years on Death Row for the rape and murder of his teenage girlfriend, Daniel Holden is going home. His conviction has been vacated due to new DNA evidence, thrusting him back into a world he no longer knows. Having spent his adult life waiting to die, Daniel must now learn how to live again. But, his reentry into the outside world may be as unforgiving as prison. He is haunted by the past, dogged by the present, and uncertain of the future. As he struggles to adapt to his new life, his return will reignite the fears of a small town and threaten to shatter his family's fragile peace. Daniel's alleged crime divided a community. His freedom could tear it in half.

I watched the first 2 episodes and I'm very intrigued. I really like the cast and the direction. Curious to see how it takes off.

Mister Matt, same here! We watched episodes 4 & 5 last night and were left wanting to watch #6, but the hour was getting late, so decided to hold off. My 2 cents: this is a really really good show.
