Relay for Life

I just wanted to see who all was planning on participating in Relay for Life this year. I had a friend ask me to come up with a song tribute for our local relay. (I am actually probably going to use one written by Moses Hogan for the Relay for Life.) and I will also be participating in it. Anyone else involved in their local Relays or planning on participating? It just has really hit home with me because I just went two weeks between my grandma's diagnosis and her death from breast cancer so I figured I'd start this thread in case anyone hadn't thought about it yet. You can make a difference!

The last two years I was a team captain for a Relay For Life team for my synogague. It is a wonderful event. My whole family participated on it. My mom is a survivor and felt very proud walking the survivors lap. I hope other people participate too!

I participated for a couple of years back in high school on "Team Pirate". We had some random slogan about hunting down cancer... The team members that were walking at any given time carried around a giant pirate flag. It was our way of ensuring that someone represented us on the track at all times. We were fun kids...

Arrrrggggghhh, did ye burn and pillage the finish line, matey? That's funny. I haven't heard anything about the Relay, in Rochester.

I'm in Business Professionals of Tomorrow (our school business club) And my friend Jon and I are in charge of entertainment.

We're doing Relay Idol. ((American idol, at the relay.))

I don't know if I'm going to participate. I'll donate, just, not run....
