Yeah, this issue of Vivian Kubrick and Scientology caused a commotion when she was MIA for her sister's funeral which greatly upset her mother. Jon Ronson talks about having spent time at the Kubrick estate to shoot Stanley Kubrick's Boxes and that Christiane Kubrick told him the situation. He brought it up in order to speak to Vivian with Tommy Davis who got incredibly defensive and hostile about it.
