Just a reminder for those who are as excited as me.
Bebe? Peh. What about the wonderfully talented and smoldering Kirk Acevedo from Oz??
Matt,
I have nothing to post. I just opened this thread to make sure Dot was alive and well.
And--she is.
Did you and Princeton ever pry yourselves off the ceiling?
What about the fact that this is the last work Jerry Orbach did before his untimely passing? That's reason enough to watch right there.
Well that goes without saying. I really admired that man.
I saw Jerry Orbarch when I was eight--he was a featured player in a revival of ANNIE GET YOUR GUN starring "The Merm."
I also saw him twice in the original production of CHICAGO.
Anyone who's had NBC on tonight has seen the promos about 25 times, and meffie, they are using "Jerry Orbach's final performances" as the tag line.
It looks great.
M_E, we're still up there and not coming down anytime soon.
Matt, you AND Princeton Make Me PROUD to be a member of BWW.
I think one of the articles covering the premiere episode said that Jerry was so sick with treatment near the end and that the writers started to write him out and he got upset and insisted that they go through with the original script. So even though he was so sick that he could only talk at a whisper, they had to write it into the show.
What a terrific thespian; committed to his craft right up until the end.
I'm on the phone with Princeton now and he thanks you.
Matt,
You know I have a VERY curious mind--how did "Princeton78" come up with his user name?
M_E, you call yourself a Broadway fan and can't figure it out??? =)
Are they both the same person?
Tiff, are you asking if Princeton & I are the same person?
Mary_Ethel...I'm beginning to think BWW is the best thing that ever happened to me.
Yes, Matt_G. Either that, your Princeton78 wants your jock awfully badly. And I mean that in the most respectful way possible.
Anyone else watching right now?
Well, whatever Princeton wants, Princeton gets.
And no, we are not the same person.
Now please keep in mind, Matt, I'm most comfortable with the classics...
I DO know that "Princeton" was a character in AVENUE Q...
Alright. Just clarifying.
I'm not a fan of this opening credits. The music is so synthesized.
ETA: *lightbulb goes on* Now I get it, M_E. *gives up Broadway Buff card*
Yeah, they need to change that music.
Well, folks, I still DON'T get it...
Cady Huffman's in this episode. And Ben Shenkman! And Candice Bergen! Whoo!

I am so excited!
L&O is my life.
...wow, that sounds pretty pathetic.
Yip...kinda.
