Rent... the final and official cast for the movie

Rent, directed by Chris Columbus, is scheduled to begin shooting in San Francisco in early spring 2005. In addition to Dawson and Thoms, original stage company members Taye Diggs, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Jesse L. Martin, Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp are expected to star.

just thought i'd share! adam... woohoo! lol, ok. sorry if it's old news, but it's new to me.

midnghtdolphin, i just wanted to let you know that this topic had been discussed to great lengths on the main message boards. i think there are two or three threads about it there already. you may want to check them out you may want to add your take on the whole casting thing.

also interiors are being shot in san francisco so that director columbus doesn't have to stray to far from his family. exterior shots will be filmed in and around nyc.

I'm relieved Rosario Dawson is doing this. I think she's a very wise choice.

i was hoping she would be cast. i'm also relieved that it's now a reality. i'm really looking forward to this movie.

Rachael Leigh Cook didn't, Rosario Dawson did. And it's total fun, you should check it out. When you're done settling, obviously.

ive never seen the live action Josie movie....i loved the cartoon though.
