Oh jeez. And we needed a thread about this?
Wait...there's a DAY dedicated to the movie?!

"Wait...there's a DAY dedicated to the movie?!"
No.
I thought it. I mourned it. But I certainly wasn't going to post a thread about it.
I remember I went to see it today and there were bunches of people in character. I even took a picture with this guy dressed up as Angel.
Sheesh.

RH, I actually did think about this recently. My family loved the movie, and personally, we now have a new recording of the score!

I thought about it, well I thought about it two days ago when I first saw it.

I was taken down by my kids last night when I realized that Adam was in School of Rock. They were annoyed that I did not know that!
brdlwyer: If it's any consolation, I didn't know that either... or cared.
I didn't know it either. NOT a Jack Black fan.
Same. Can't stand him.
this topic title gave me visions of an outdoor street fair ala Wicked Day.
You mean that 1 year ago, I had the theatre to myself?
Time flies.......
Some people need to find a life, hopefully one that does not have the name Mark and whoever else was in that over blown pile of crap.
Here's one for you...Sad Day, it's a special day just for you!!
Are my boyfriend and I the only people that enjoy the movie?
Y'all should read the screenplay. It's awful! The movie is so much better.
It's *only* a 162 pages...
i love the Rent movie, more than the stage version actually.
I like the movie version, too!
While I very much enjoy the show, I agree that the movie is nothing to praise, much less start a thread about.
