...How in the world could they have the courage to confront Al Queda?
Only John McCain, so far behind he'd dress in drag if it got him on Saturday Night Live again and Ron Paul, the non-Republican Republican, have agreed to attend the upcoming You Tube/CNN Presidential debates. The corresponding Democratic debate was wildly successful with viewers, voters and future presidents alike, in spite of the "Wild card" aspect of the forum: Not only would candidates not know the questions or the topics, they wouldn't know who was going to ask a question next: Moderators selected questions submitted from voters via You Tube, resulting in topics like Global warming, slavery Reparations and the value of a public school education being addressed.
Republican front runner Rudy Guiliani has said that "Scheduling conflicts" prevent him from attending while Mitt Romney has announced that he thinks answering real questions from real people is beneath him. He's said he thinks debates should be held "On a higher level" and that the You Tube debate "Added nothing" to the campaign.
You Tube and CNN are attempting to herd the candidates back into the debate, offering to postpone and reschedule to meet candidate demands. I wouldn't hold my breath. Something tells me the Republicans don't want to know what average americans are thinking.

Just another sign of how out of touch the Republicans are with the American Public.
I hope that YouTube doesn't cancel. I think they should run the questions to an empty stage. Just like how the NAACP left empty podiums for the Republican candidates at their recent national convention. Tom Tancredo was the only one who bothered to show.

Some of the Questions they are afraid of:
To Senator Thompson: "Sir you were on a TV show called "Law & Order." Was that uncomfortable since you onvious beleive in neither? I refer of course to your ringing endorsement of the Scooter Libby Commutation."
To Rudy Guiliani: "Mayor Guiliani was it weirder marrying your cousin or announcing your divorce on TV before you even told your wife?"
To Representive Ron Paul: Congessman you seem to be sane. Why are you a Republican?
Governor Huckabee: "You don't believe in evolution. Did you seen any of the Planet of the Apes movies? Which one did you like better and why?"
