What I didn't like about it was the overplaying of all the characters (which I believe has to do with the writing and direction - not so much the actors themselves) for instance - it would be much creepier for the Satan Worshipper to seem sweet and kind and be nice looking, like a boy next door type - than to have this guy who's doing it (and doing it over-the-top, I might add) I hate it when they spell things out for you. Let the viewer decide for him/herself how to feel about a character - don't just introduce someone and say "Here's the devil figure now, coming to scare you"..that's just plain stupid. Let me be scared when I figure out that the sweet guy is really the devil in disquise - that's MUCH more frightening, to me. And why does Bill Pullman work??? He is SO blah on screen and always plays every character exactly the same - boring.
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!"
Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!
