I've always admired Rick Pitino, feeling he was a class act all the way: from his Italian suits and his Gucci shoes to the way he seemed to care about his wife and five children. However, the stories about his having sex with a woman on a restaurant table (after closing) and paying for her abortion makes me feel the guy is a sham.

Isn't Pitino the coach who brings a Catholic priest along when his team goes on the road? Geeze!

A married heterosexual Italian-American man had sex with a woman other than his wife? STOP THE FRIGGIN PRESSES BADDA BING. I think it may be time to face reality, Dollypop. Images are usually shams. I'm sorry you're still buying into them and ending up disappointed but I honestly don't see why all three things can't be true:

He had sex with a woman on a restaurant table after the place closed (HOT!);

He payed for her abortion (Who says chivalry is dead?)

He brings a Catholic priest along when his team goes on the road (And who is anybody to judge so long as he confesses and is absolved of his sins?).

It's 2009, not 1952.

Did I read the article right? He paid $3000 for the abortion? I know I'm a little rusty since I've known the going market price, but $3000 seems steep. Must have been a fancy one!

Maybe he told her to pick herself up something nice afterwards. Like I said, chivalry.
