Thought this was an interesting story. Who would have thought an innocent food fight could get so out of hand?
MONTREAL (CP) — Montreal police are warning that food fights are growing in popularity and intensity following an incident at a high school that ended with two students facing assault charges.
Police said today that students are using the Internet to prepare for the fights, then posting videos on websites such as YouTube.
Police say Wednesday’s incident was the third food fight at a Montreal area high school in a week.
Two students aged 14 and 16 are expected to be summoned to court in the coming days to face charges for their role in the food fight.
Police say the fight got out of hand and turned into a mini-riot that left two school officials and a police officer with minor injuries.
More than 20 baton-yielding officers were needed to quell the fight.

Call the understudy / I can't go on tonight / I'm drinking with my buddy / I'm getting good and tight / Before they raise the curtain I'll be higher than a kite / So call the understudy
I can't go on tonight
