Possibly tomorrow. She's just passing through the Bahamas. She's picked up intensity. The Florida Keys don't care to greet her so they've evacuated. I hope she decides not to come and takes another path. I'm not looking forward to her arrival.

As of now, Rita is on target for a Galveston/Houston direct hit for Saturday as a category 3 hurricane. Of course, this could change, but a category 3 would still be pretty nasty (I remember Alicia very well). It's possible it could head directly into Louisiana again, so efforts in New Orleans will have to go into double-time. I have a really reliable weather source, so I'll add updates as I find out.

Chita would never behave this way.
