Are we talking about the same Bernadette Pooters? Nasally voice two bits short of Fran Drescher? Singing voice that could rival...Renee Zellwegger? Mammaries bigger than her talent? That one?

I'm not Japanese but I shake my head on behalf of all the other Asians with good taste.

Well, I was talking about this to Munkustrap last week. I really liked the sets, costumes and especially teh choreography, and some of the music was catchy, but I found parts of the show to be very plodding, pointless and slow. I liked the style of music and the dancing, but that's mostly it.

Bernadette Pooters?! *smack* Clearly, the Sunday in the Park viewing will have to involve a cattle prod, as well.

Anyway, there's 8 tracks involving Sondheim in Hey, Mr. Producer, including the classic "Duelling Pianos." They're not very representative of his body of work- 5 of them are from 2 musicals- but they're an okay start. If you really want to hear someone do justice to "Losing My Mind," get a recording of Barbara Cook doing it. Gah.

If you have Hey, Mr. Producer, she sings in "Unexpected Song," "Broadway Baby," "Being Alive," and "You've Gotta Have a Gimmick" and does a good job in all of them.

What can I threaten you with that'll actually scare you?

Oh, got it. LSATs! You'll be sentenced to permanent LSAT purgatory.
